During my recent trip from Kathmandu, I found myself needing a convenient place to stay overnight. The Diamond Hotel was a clear choice given its proximity to the airport. With just a quick walk through the parking lot, I was at the hotel in no time. The room itself was spacious and well-cleaned, equipped with useful amenities like a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle. Housekeeping was attentive, ensuring everything was fresh for my stay. I did notice that noise from the street could be an issue if you have a room facing it; next time, I'd definitely aim for one on the airport side. The staff were amicable, and they even upgraded my room at no extra cost, which is a nice touch for weary travelers. If you're looking for decent food options, the hotel is surrounded by several eateries. While there may be more luxurious options out there, Diamond Hotel offers solid value for its price, particularly for those needing quick airport access.
